(Washington, DC — February 26, 2017) – Mike Pence (R-IN) has promised unwavering American support for Israel. Unfortunately, he apparently believes Israel is located in Central America, not the Middle East.
On Friday, Pence addressed the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas (NV), hitting on such crowd-pleasing themes as support for peace with the Palestinians and no tolerance for anti-Semitism.
And then he proudly tweeted about the event:
Unfortunately, the flag emojis in the tweet weren’t Israeli flags. They were Nicaraguan flags.
“Maybe Pence is looking to create a new culture and language?” posited a political scientist, speaking on condition of anonymity. “Maybe ‘Hebrish’ or ‘Spyiddush’ are in the works?”
As far as Pence’s boss – Donald Trump (R-NY) – goes, his actions and comments have proven to be extremely controversial on both the peace initiative and the rampant anti-Semitism in America.
Speaking about a one-state solution vs. two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians, Chancellor Squirrelhead upended over 20 years of international peace initiatives by not committing to a two-state solution:
- “I like the one that both parties like. I’m very happy with the one that both parties like. I can live with either one.”
“That he blew up the two-state solution is bad enough,” said a J Street spokesman, speaking on condition of anonymity. “But doing it in front of [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu is worse. So, so much worse.”
During that same event with Netanyahu, Chancellor Squirrelhead responded to a question about battling anti-Semitism by reminding everyone in attendance that he won Election 2016 via the Electoral College.
And just last week, Chancellor Squirrelhead issued condescending remarks when the Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery in University City (MO) was vandalized.
“It just shows that this White House continues to be out of control,” said a political analyst, speaking on condition of anonymity. “Chancellor Squirrelhead wanted to ‘Make America Great Again’ but he’s quickly becoming the laughingstock of the world. Which is what he truly deserves.
